Background
Beginning in October aoi4, Mayor Ferrell and the
Federal Way Service Club Network have worked together
on plans for a new City entrance sign on 320th/Veteran's
Way.
Sign features would include:
High resolution LED message board
Fiber access for remote programing of message board
Service Club logos within the City
City of Federal Way Logo
Sign to be located on S32oth/Veteran's Way by the I-5
off -ramp

LED sign content to be managed by the City; policy to
be drafted regarding guidelines for message board

Lodging Tax Advisory Committee recommended $15K
Of 2014 funding towards the cost of the Entrance Sign
Federal Way Service Club Network contributing $5K
for the cost of the Entrance Sign
Following receipt of responsible bids, staff will work to
identify additional funding for Council approval to
complete the project
