Tax Advisory Committee
Council authorized the LTAC allocation of $10,000
at the August 11, 2015 council meeting
Council directed the item back to the Finance,
Economic Development, and Regional Affairs
Committee (FEDRAC) to identify a funding source
for the additional $10,000 that was requested by
the Society
Historical Socluoty Donation
Mayor Ferrell received an anonymous
donation of $10,000 to be directed to the
Society in lieu of the City locating an
additional funding source within its budget
The Anonymous donation was made in the
name of Faye and Doug Clerget to
recognize their great work and community
contributions and to recognize the good
work of the Society

Mayor's Recommendation:
Authorize City acceptance of the $10,000
anonymous donation in honor of Faye and
Doug Clerget and allocate these funds to
the Society in lieu of the City locating an
additional funding source within its budget

Options Considered:
Authorize the Mayor to accept the
anonymous donation of $10,000 in honor of
Faye and Doug Clerget to benefit the
Historical Society
Do not accept the anonymous donation of
$10,000 and refer the matter back to
FEDRAC to identify a funding source for the
additional $10,000 requested by the
Historical Society
