Tribe Access Road DNS Notice DETERMINATION OF NONSIGNIFICANCE (DNS) NOTICE Puyallup Tribe of Indians Access Road File No: 21-101955-00-SE Proposal: Proposal to construct a new local access road for the tribe property, which will connect to the existing two-way intersection of South 376th Street and 8th Avenue South and form a three-legged intersection, with the new road extending south of the existing intersection. The proposed road will have an approximate overall length of 1,250 feet, and be located on city right-of-way for the first 450 feet, with the remainder situated on private property. The project will provide stormwater management for the roadway. This decision was made after review of a completed environmental checklist, Federal Way Comprehensive Plan, and other municipal policies, plans, rules, and regulations designated as a basis for exercise of substantive authority under the State Environmental Policy Act pursuant to RCW 43.31C.110. Anyone may appeal this determination to the Federal Way City Clerk (City Hall, 33325 8th Avenue South, Federal Way, WA 98003), no later than 5:00 p.m. on October 1, 2021, by a written letter stating the reason for the appeal of the determination.
