NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
2021 Various Proposed Text Amendments to Federal Way Revised
Code: Title 2 (Government), Title 14 (Environmental Policy), Title 18
(Subdivisions), and Title 19 (Zoning and Development Code)

The City of Federal Way Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on Wednesday,
December 1, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers (City Hall, 33325 8th Avenue S, Federal
Way, WA 98003) and remotely, to consider amending various sections of the Federal Way
Revised Code (FWRC) as part of an annual code update process.
To access the meeting remotely, one may go to the city’s Public Meetings page and access the
meeting agenda at: http://www.cityoffederalway.com/page/agendas-and-minutes The meeting agenda
will contain all available options for attending remotely if you are unable to attend in person.
The official file for this proposal is available for public review at the Community Development
Department. A staff report will be provided to the Planning Commission for their November 17,
2021 briefing and is available at the weblink above. Any person may submit written comments to
the Planning Commission prior to the hearing, present them to the Planning Commission during
the hearing either in person or remotely, and/or may appear at the public hearing to give public
testimony.
