Mayor's Recommendation
The Mayor recommends sending this item to a Study Session of the City Council in March or
April for further discussion. Although other topics may be included, at a minimum direction needs
to be provided on the following:
1. Given the properties currently considering redevelopment, should immediate planning efforts
focus on the blocks proximate to the light rail station?
2. Should the City utilize the current budget appropriation for Downtown Planning and
supplement it to move forward with a feasibility study for the S 320th Street dip?
