B. NTS Program Project – 30th Ave SW (SW 312th Pl to SW 320th St) Senior Traffic Engineer Jason Kennedy presented the NTS Program Project, including details on the NTS
Community Meeting that was held. Questions and discussion followed.

Surface Water Quality Program Supervisor Emile Ancelet presented plan updates to the NPDES
Program, including background information. Questions and discussion followed.

D. Transportation Grant Funding Applications
Public Works Deputy Director Desiree Winkler presented the applications for the Transportation Grant
Funding, including details on the financial impact. Questions and discussion followed.

E. Project Update on Sound Transit Projects in Federal Way
Sound Transit Liaison Ryan Medlen reported on current activities regarding Sound Transit projects,
including information on the upcoming parking studies. Questions and discussion followed.
F. Quarterly Update on the Periodic Update to the Comprehensive Plan
Senior Planner Chaney Skadsen presented updates on the Comprehensive Plan, including details on the Public Participation Plan. Questions and discussion followed.

5. FUTURE MEETINGS/AGENDA ITEMS: Request to discuss the process for yearly budget
regarding the installation of speed bumps.
The next LUTC meeting will be held April 4, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. in City Hall Council Chambers (or Zoom
meeting, per State Guidance).
