A study session of the Federal Way City Council, for the purpose of
discussing transportation issues, was held in Council Chambers,
Federal Way city Hall, 33530 First Way South, Federal Way,
Washington, on the 20th day of November, 1991, at the hour of 9:00
a.m. Councilmembers present: Mayor Debbie Ertel, Deputy Mayor
Mary Gates, Jim Handmacher, Bob Stead and Jim Webster.
Councilmembers absent: Joel Marks and Lynn Templeton. Staff
present: J. Brent McFall, City Manager and Maureen Swaney, city
Clerk. Others attending: Jean Marie Brough and Maryanne Mitchell.
Mr. McFall welcomed the attendees and introduced Philip Keightley,
Public Works Director, who reviewed transportation issues.
Ms. Mitchell excused herself at 9:35 a.m.; Mr. McFall excused
himself at 9:40 a.m. and was replaced by Kenneth Nyberg, Assistant
City Manager. Mayor Ertel excused herself at 10:00 a.m.
