Monacelli REPORT NO.: FR15109 REMARKS: A representative of PSI arrived on site as requested for epoxy dowel inspections for the curved retaining wall sections. The contractor drilled the proper size holes, cleaned the holes out and installed #4 rebar with Simpson ET22 epoxy, having 5" embedment for the wall dowels and 6" embedment for the footing dowels. The size, spacing and the embedment conform to the engineer detail dated 9/27/02. The engineer did not call out the embedment requirements for the wal I dowels so the contractor did 5" embedment in an 8" wall. The inspector talked with Mark of JC and he said this was acceptable.
