CALL MEETING TO ORDER
A Study Session of the Federal Way City Council was called to order
by Mayor Bob Stead, at the hour of 7:05 p.m., in Council Chambers,
Federal Way city Hall, 33530 First Way South, Federal Way,
Washinqton, on the 24th day of February, 1992. Councilmembers
present: Ray Tomlinson, Mary Gates, Deputy Mayor Joel Marks, Ron
Gintz, Lynn Templeton and Skip Priest. Staff present: J. Brent
McFall, city Manaqer and Maureen Swaney, City Clerk.

RECREATION PROGRAMS AND INTERIM COMMUNITY
CENTER
Joe stevens, Director of Parks, Recreation and Human Services
Department, presented an overview of the 1992 budqeted recreation
proqrams and interim community center.
The meetinq recessed at 8:35 p.m. and reconvened at 8:45 p.m.
After discussion and questions from the Council, Deputy Mayor Joel
Marks and Councilmember Ron Gintz requested that the authorization
for staff to proceed with the development of the interim community
center be placed on the March 3, 1992 city Council aqenda in order
to have a vote on whether or not to proceed with the project.
