MINUTES
I.
CALL MEETING TO ORDER
Mayor Gates opened the study session of the Federal Way City Council at 5 :00 p. m., in Council
Chambers, City Hall, Federal Way, Washington.
City Council present: Mayor Mary Gates, Deputy Mayor Phil Watkins, Council members Jack
Dovey, Hope Elder, Ron Gintz, Skip Priest, Ray Tomlinson.
City Staff present: City Manager Ken Nyberg, City Attorney Londi Lindell, City Clerk
Maureen Swaney, Deputy City Clerk Chris Green.
II.
GIS PRESENTATION
GIS staff provided exceptional displays for viewing by everyone attending the study session.
Systems Manager Mehdi Sadri and GIS Supervisor Curt Ryser made detailed presentations to
Council members and responded to a variety of questions with respect to functions and
capabilities of the GIS system.
III.
ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Gates adjourned the study session of the Federal Way City Council at the hour of 6:50
