CALL MEETING TO ORDER
Mayor Gates opened the study session of the Federal Way City Council at 5:45 p.m., in Council
Chambers, City Hall, Federal Way, Washington.
City Council present: Mayor Mary Gates, Deputy Mayor Phil Watkins, Councilmembers Jack
Dovey, Hope Elder, Skip Priest, Ray Tomlinson. Excused absence: Councilmember Ron
Gintz.
City Staff present: City Manager Ken Nyberg, City Attorney Londi Lindell, Acting City Clerk
Chris Green.

Vision 2020 Transportation Plan
METRO 6-Year PlanlDART Service Presentation
COPP Director Larry Springer and Traffic Engineer Saeid Daniari briefed Council on the Vision
2020 Transportation Plan and responded to questions.
Diane Harper from Advance Planning of METRO reported on the 6-year plan and service
alternatives.
Dave Charhon from METRO updated Councilmembers on DART service in this area.
III.
