Council MIN 06-19-1995 Special FEDERAL WAY CITY COUNCIL Special Session Council Session - City Hall June 19, 1995 MINUTES I. CALL MEETING TO ORDER Mayor Gates opened the specialÆthics Interview session at 4:00 p.m., in Council Chambers, City Hall, Federal Way, Washington. City Council Present: Mayor Mary Gates, Deputy Mayor Phil Watkins, Councilmembers Jack Dovey, Hope Elder, Ron Gintz, Skip Priest and Michael Park. City Staff Present: City Manager Ken Nyberg, City Attorney Londi Lindell appeared and were excused and made themselves available by telephone should council need their assistance. City Clerk Chris Green and Deputy City Clerk Bob Baker were also present. ll. ETHICS BOARD INTERVIEWS The following were interviewed by the Council of whole and interviews were limited to (approximately) 10 minutes in length: Karla Dern, William Linehan, Scott Fisher, Maynard Campbell, Rob Flitton, Peter Mortensen, Pat Godfrey, Margaret Heit, and Warren Burton. Jonathon Schmick appeared by application, as he was out of the Country. Interviews concluded at 5:35 p.m. Councilmember Dovey moved to recommend re-appointment of Reverend Jonathon Schmick for a three-year term to the Board of Ethics and to recommend William Linehan as Alternate, also for a three-year term; second by Deputy Mayor Watkins.
