MINUTES
I.
CALL MEETING TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 5:05 p.m.
City Council present: Mayor Skip Priest, Deputy Mayor Hope Elder, Mary Gates, Jack Dovey,
Ron Gintz and Michael Park.
City Staff present: City Clerk Chris Green and Community Services Department Director Greg
Moore. City Manager Ken Nyberg and City Attorney Londi Lindell were excused by the City
Council.
II.
PLANNING COMMISSION VACANCY INTERVIEWS
The following persons appeared and were interviewed: Robert Beeson, Adebola Adekoya, Robert
Vaughan, Peter Morse and Brian Johnson.
Sandra Rippentrop requested her application serve in lieu of her personal appearance as she was
out of town.
Alec Schwimmer did not appear.
III.
DELIBERATIONS
All Councilmembers present deliberated and recommended the following persons be appointed at
tonight's regular meeting: Robert Vaughn, Peter Morse and Dean Greenough. Each shall serve a
4-year term and the council also recommended Adebola Adekoya serve as 2nd Alternate, also
with a 4-year term.
IV.
ADJOURNMENT
Having no further business, the special meeting of the Federal Way City Council adjourned at
