I.
CALL MEETING TO ORDER
Councilmember Jack Dovey opened the special meeting at 5:00 p.m., in Council Chambers, City Hall,
Federal Way, Washington.
City Council present: Mayor Mahlon "Skip" Priest, Deputy Mayor Hope Elder; Councilmembers
Michael Park, Mary Gates, Jack Dovey and Ron Gintz. Councilmember Phil Watkins was not
present.
Current ParkslRecreation Commission Vice Chair Laird Chambers was also present.
City Staff present: City Clerk Chris Green. Excused were City Manager Ken Nyberg and City
Attorney Londi Lindell.
II.
PARKS/RECREATION COMMISSION INTERVIEWS
Council conducted interviews with the following: Bobby Roach, Bob Kellogg, Frank Laky, Dean
McColgan, Ron Zaffino, Jim Merryman and Bob Evans.
Dan Bouchard was unable to appear and requested his applications serve in lieu of his personal
appearance.
III.
DELIBERATIONS
After discussion of Council, a consensus was reached to reappoint Bobby Roach, Bob Kellogg, Sr.
and Dean McColgan.
IV.
ADJOURNMENT
Having no other business, the special meeting was adjourned at 6:25 p.m.
