AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF FEDERAL WAY,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING SECTION 11(B) OF ORDINANCE
NO. 90-54 OF THE CITY, TO ESTABLISH DISTANCE
SEPARATION BETWEEN TEMPORARY FIREWORKS STANDS
AND GASOLINE STATIONS OR OTHER PREMISES WHERE
FLAMABLE LIQUIDS OR GASES ARE KEPT OR STORED.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FEDERAL WAY, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.
Section 11, B of Ordinance No.
90-54
is
hereby amended to read as follows:
B.
No temporary fireworks stand shall be
located within fifty feet of any other
building or structure, or within two
hundred fifty feet of any gasoline
station, oil storage tank or premises
where flammable liquids or gases are kept
or stored: provided, however, the Fire
Marshall for the citv shall have authoritv
to establish a distance of less than two
hundred fiftv feet upon the determination
that there will be no increased hazard to
the public.

days
after
passage
and
publication
of
an
approved
summary
consisting of the title to this ordinance.
