91-98
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF FEDERAL WAY, WASHINGTON, ADOPTING THE 1991
STATE ENERGY CODE, AND AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.
90-33 TO DELETE SECTION 92 OF SAID ORDINANCE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FEDERAL WAY, WASHINGTON,
DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.
The Washington State Energy Code, Chapter
15.11 of the Washington Administrative Code as it now exists or may
hereafter be amended, added to or deleted from,
adopted by the
Washington State Legislature as specified in RCW 19.27A.020,
is
adopted by this reference as if set forth in full.
Provided, the
purpose of this code is not to create or otherwise establish or
designate any particular class or group of persons who will or
should be especially protected or benefitted by the terms of this
code.
section 2.
If any section, sentence, clause or phrase
of this ordinance shall be held to be invalid or unconstitutional
by
a
court
of
competent
jurisdiction,
such
invalidity
or
unconstitutionality
shall
not
affect
the
validity
or
constitutionality of any other section, sentence, clause or phrase
of this ordinance.
section 3.
Ordinance No. 90-33, section 92, is hereby
repealed.
section 4.
Whenever any conflict occurs between any
section
of
this
ordinance
and
the
code
referred
to
in
this
ordinance, the code shall prevail.

section 5.
This ordinance shall be in effect five (5)
days after its passage and publication of an approved summary
consisting of the title to this ordinance.
