ORDINANCE NO. 01-1R7
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FEDERAL WAY, WASHINGTON, RELATING TO BUDGETS
AND FINANCE, REVISING THE 2000-01 BIENNIAL BUDGET
(AMENDS ORDINANCE 00-377).
WHEREAS, certain revisions to the 2001-2002 Biennial Budget are necessary; and
WHEREAS, these revisions are a result of funds to be carried forward from 2000;
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FEDERAL WAY, WASHINGTON,
DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Amendment. Ordinance 00-377, Section I, is hereby amended to adopt
the revised budget for the years 2001-2002 biennium as follows:

Section I. 200 1-2002Biennial Budget. That the budget for the 2001-
2002 biennium is hereby adopted in the amounts and for the purposes
as shown on the attached Exhibit A & B (200 I and 2002 Revised
Budgets).
Section 2. Severability. The provisions of this ordinance are declarêa separate and
severable. The invalidity of any clause, sentence, paragraph, subdivision, section, or portion of this
ordinance or the invalidity of the application thereof to any person or circumstance, shall not affect
the validity of the remainder of the ordinance, or the validity of its application to other persons or
circumstances.

Section 3. Ratification. Any act consistent with the authority and prior to the
effective date of this ordinance is hereby ratified and affirmed.
Section 4. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty (30)
days from the time of its final passage, as provided by law.
