AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FEDERAL WAY, WASHINGTON, RELATING TO BUDGETS
AND FINANCE, REVISING THE 2001-02 BIENNIAL BUDGET
(AMENDS' ORDINANCE 00-377, 01-387, 01-406, 01-408 AND
02-418).
WHEREAS, certain revisions to the 2001-02 Biennial Budget are necessary; and
WHEREAS, these revisions are a result of the final biennium budget adjustment
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FEDERAL WAY, WASHINGTON
DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Ordinance 02-418, Section 1, is hereby amended to adopt the revisec
budget for the years 2001-02 biennium in the amounts and for the following purposes:
Section 1. 2001-02 Biennial Budget. That the budget for the 2001-02
biennium is hereby adopted in the amounts and for the purposes as
shown on the attached Exhibit A (2002 Revised Budget).
Section 2. Severability. The provisions of this ordinance are declared separate am
severable. The invalidity of any clause, sentence, paragraph, subdivision, section, or portion ofthi
ordinance or the invalidity of the application thereof to any person or circumstance, shall not affect
the validity of the remainder of the ordinance, or the validity of its application to other persons or
circumstances.

Section 3. Ratification. Any act consistent with the authority and prior to the
effective date of this ordinance is hereby ratified and affirmed.
Section 4. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)
days from the time of its final passage, as provided by law.
