CONDITIONS:
All recommendations of the Geotechnical report must be followed.
Minimum 4" perforated drainage pipe shall be placed behind the wall at the base to direct drainage to an
appropriate discharge location. Soil drainage area shall extend at least 18" horizontally from the back of
the wall and to within one foot of the top of the wall.
Geotechnical engineer must be onsite to observe geotechnical aspects of the design, in particular wall
subgrade, fill placement and compaction, drainage placement and materials.
If the wall is in the backfill zone of the house, structural fill shall be used for wall support footing, per the
eeotechnical report
