Res 90-025 ---, ~ 0072.190.002 JDW/naa 04/13/90 RESOLUTION NO. 90-25 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FEDERAL WAY, WASHINGTON, ESTABLISHING A ROUTE CORRIDOR FOR THE EXTENSION OF S. W. 344TH STREET WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY. WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on April 3, 1990, with respect to the establishment of a route corridor for the extension of S. W. 344th Street, and WHEREAS, after conclusion of the hearing and a review of the record, the City Council completed their deliberation and made a determination, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FEDERAL WAY, WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That certain alternate designated Alternate 3 from the Environmental Impact Statement prepared by King County, as depicted in the attached Exhibit A, is hereby designated as the proposed route corridor for the extension of S. W. 344th Street. Said street extension shall be designated as a The right-of-way of the proposed extension where minor arterial. it crosses the polygon property, which property is designated in Exhibit A, may be limited in width to 84 feet of right-of-way. The grade of the proposed street;, extension as it crosses the Polygon property, designated on Exlì~bit A, shall not exceed 12 percent (12%). section 2. The City Council expressly finds that the above set forth designated route corridor for the extension of S. JDWO0812R -1- COpy W. 344th street is in the public interest and serves the public health, safety and general welfare and further directs that any and all developments having a direct impact on the need and necessity for said roadway install and/or contribute to the establishment of the required right-of-way and construction of the necessary improvements all in accordance with applicable City standards.
