A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF FEDERAL WAY,
WASHINGTON, REGARDING VACATION OF A PORTION OF
SOUTH 335TH STREET, IN THE VICINITY OF SOUTH
335TH STREET, EAST OF 6TH AVENUE SOUTH,
SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE STREET
VACATION,
WHEREAS,
a proper petition has been filed requesting
vacation of a portion of South 335th Street, in the vicinity of
South 335th Street,
East of 6th Avenue South,
in the City of
Federal Way,
as described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto¡ NOW,
THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FEDERAL WAY, WASHINGTON,
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
section 1.
A public hearing on the aforesaid vacation
petition shall be held at the regular meeting of the Federal way
city Council at 7:00 p,m, on
October 15.1991
, in
the Council Chambers in the city Hall, 33530 1st Way South, Federal
Way, Washington.
Said hearing date is not more than sixty (60) nor
less than twenty (20) days after the date of the passage of this
resolution.
section 2,
The City Clerk shall give at least twenty
(20) days notice of the hearing and cause the notice to be posed as
provided by law.
section 3.
The Public Works Director shall obtain the
necessary approval or rejection of, or other information from the
City departments, affected agencies, and utilities, fire and police
agencies, and shall transmit such information to the City council

so that the matter can be considered by the City Council at a
regular meeting on

Legal description - COMMENCING at the Southwesterly comer of Lot 4 of "West Campus
Office Park Division I" as shown on the official plat thereof filed in the office of the King
County Auditor in Volume 97 of Plats, Pages 55 through 58, inclusive;
THENCE along the Westerly line of said Lot 4 also being the Easterly margin of 6th Avenue
South and its Northerly extension, N 13°44'55" W, 149.69 feet to the TRUE POINT OF
BEGINNING;
THENCE continuing along said Northerly extension, N 13°44'55" W, 85.00 feet to a point of
curvature;
THENCE Northwesterly along a tangent curve to the left, through a delta angle of 05°33'12",
a radius of 430.00 feet, along an arc length of 41.68 feet to a point of cusp;
THENCE along a non-tangent curve to the left, through a delta angle of 84 °26' 48", a radius of
35.00 feet, the radius point of which bears N 70°41'53" E, along an arc length of 51.59 feet
to a point of tangency;
THENCE N 76015'05" E, 197.18 feet to a point of curve to the right;
THENCE along said non-tangent curve to the right, through a delta angle of 286° 15'36", a
radius of 50.00 feet, the radius point of which bears S 66°52'43" E, along an arc length of
249.81 feet;
THENCE S 76°15'05" W, 195.00 feet to a point of curve to the left;
THENCE along said tangent curve to the left, through a delta angle of 90000'00", a radius of
35.00 feet, along an arc length of 54.98 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
The above described parcel lies wholly within Section 17, Township 21 North, Range 4 East,
W .M., and is further described as that portion of South 335th Street lying East of the Easterly
margin of 6th Avenue South, all as shown in said plat of "West Campus Office Park Division
1".
