A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF FEDERAL WAY, WASHINGTON, DESIGNATING
"FEDERAL WAY FAMILY FEST' A CELEBRATION OF
DIVERSITY'" AS AN OFFICIAL CELEBRATION OF THE
CITY AND DECLARING THE CITY'S INTENT TO
SPONSOR "FEDERAL WAY FAMILY FEST 'A
CELEBRATION OF DIVERSITY'" AS A CIVIC EVENT.
WHEREAS, the City council of the City of Federal Way,
Washington, supports the ideals and principals of the "Federal Way
Family Fest
fA Celebration of Diversity'" community event,
and
desires to have such event become a community celebration; NOW,
THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FEDERAL WAY, WASHINGTON,
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
section 1.
Adoption of Event.
That certain community
event commonly known as "Federal way Family Fest 'A Celebration of
Diversity'" is hereby adopted as a city sponsored event and shall
be deemed to be an official civic and community celebration.
section 2.
Effective Date.
This resolution shall be
effective immediately upon passage by the Federal Way city Council.
