A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF FEDERAL WAY, WASHINGTON, SETTING A PUBLIC
HEARING DATE OF TUESDAY, JULY 18 1995, FOR
ADOPTION OF AN EXTENDED AND REVISED SIX-YEAR
TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the requirements of Chapters 35.77
and 47.26 RCW, the city council of the City of Federal Way must
adopt a revised and extended Six-year Transportation Improvement
Program annually; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing must be held for adoption of
the
revised
and
extended
Six-year
Transportation
Improvement
Program;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FEDERAL
WAY, WASHINGTON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
section l. Public Hearinq.
A public hearing shall be
held on the 1996-2010 Federal Way Transportation Improvement Plan
at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18, 1995, at the Federal Way City
Hall Council Chambers.
section 2.
Severability.
If any section,
sentence,
clause or phrase of this resolution should be held to be invalid or
unconstitutional
by
a
court
of
competent
jurisdiction,
such
invalidity or unconstitutionality shall not affect the validity or
constitutionality of any other section, sentence, clause or phrase
of this resolution.

section 3.
Ratification.
Any act consistent with the
authority and prior to the effective date of the resolution is
hereby ratified and affirmed.
section 4.
Effective Date.
This resolution shall be
effective immediately upon passage by the Federal Way City Council.
