A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF FEDERAL WAY, WASHINGTON, REPEALING
RESOLUTIONS 92-123, 93-131, 93-157, 93-160,
94-177,95-199 AND 95-202, AND ESTABLISHING A
FEE SCHEDULE FOR APPLICATIONS AND PERMITS FOR
THE CITY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FEDERAL WAY DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section
1.
Repealer.
The
City
of
Federal
Way
Resolutions 92-123,93-131, 93-157,93-160,94-177,95-199 and 95-
202, relating to fees, are hereby repealed.
section 2.
Fee Schedule.
The City of Federal Way adopts
the Fee Schedule as attached hereto, identified as Exhibit A and
hereby incorporated in full by this reference,
for the various
applications and permits processed and issued by the City.

3.
Severability.
If any section,
sentence,
clause or phrase of this resolution should be held to be invalid or
unconstitutional
by
a
court
of
competent
jurisdiction,
such
invalidity or unconstitutionality shall not affect the validity or
constitutionality of any other section, sentence, clause or phrase
of this resolution.

Ratification.
Any act consistent with the
authority and prior to the effective date of the resolution is
hereby ratified and affirmed.

Savinqs Clause.
Resolution Nos. 92-123, 93-
131, 93-157,93-160, 94-l77, 95-l99 and 95-202, which are repealed
by this ordinance, shall remain in full force and effect until the
effective date of this ordinance and shall remain in full force and
effect in the event this ordinance is invalidated in whole or in
part.

Effective Date.
The fees established herein
shall be effective immediately upon passage of this Resolution by
the Federal Way City Council.

REFUNDS OF LAND USE FEES.
The Filing Fees as set forth in the Fee Schedule for the City are established to defray the
cost of posting and processing and the proceedings in connection with a land use
application. The Building and Zoning Director may authorize the refunding of not more
than eighty percent (80%) of the total application fees paid provided the applicant
presents a written request to withdraw or cancel prior to the routing of the application
for staff review.

Penalty Fees:
Any person who shall commence any work for which a permit is required by this
Code without fITSt having obtained a permit shall pay double the permit fee fixed
by this section for such work. Such double fee permit fee shall be in addition to
any penalty for a violation of the provisions of this Code.
D.
Administrative Note:
For the purpose of this section, a sanitary plumbing outlet on or to which a
plumbing fixture or àppliance may be set or attached shall be construed to be a
fixture. Fees for re-connection and retest of existing plumbing systems in
