A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FEDERAL WAY, WASHINGTON, SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING
DATE OF TUESDAY, JULY 16 1996, FOR ADOPTION OF AN
EXTENDED AND REVISED SIX-YEAR TRANSPORTATION
IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the requirements of Chapters 35.77
and 47.26 RCW, the City Council of the City of Federal Way must
adopt a revised and extended Six-year Transportation Improvement
Program annually; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing must be held for adoption of
the
revised
and
extended
Six-year
Transportation
Improvement
Program;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FEDERAL
WAY, WASHINGTON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1
Public Hearing.
A public hearing shall be
held on the 1997-2010 Federal Way Transportation Improvement Plan
at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16, 1996, at the Federal Way City
Hall Council Chambers.
Section 2
Severability.
If any section,
sentence,
clause or phrase of this resolution should be held to be invalid or
unconstitutional
by
a
court
of
competent
jurisdiction,
such
CC~~1f
invalidity or unconstitutionality shall not affect the validity or
constitutionality of any other section, sentence, clause or phrase
of this resolution.
Section 3
Ratification. .Any act consistent with the
authority and prior to the effective date of the resolution is
hereby ratified and affirmed.
Section 4
Effective Date.
This resolution shall be
effective immediately upon passage by the Federal Way City Council.
