Res 02-361 RESOLUTION NO. 02-361 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FEDERAL WAY, WASHINGTON, REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 94-162 RELATING TO ESTABLISHING A SMALL WORKS ROSTER PROCESS FOR A WARDING PUBLIC WORKS CONTRACTS. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Federal Way, Washington, has previously adopted Resolution No. 94-162 to establish a small works roster process for awarding public works contracts whenever the estimated cost was One Hundred Thousand ($100,000.00) Dollars or less; and WHEREAS, the Washington State Legislature adopted RCW 39.04.155 which provides for the creation of small works rosters by cities; and WHEREAS, the Washington State Legislature amended 39.04.155 to allow for small works roster whenever the estimated cost of work is Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000) or less; and WHEREAS, the City Council of Federal Way desires to repeal Resolution No. 94-162 because ofthe amendment to RCW 39.04.155; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City ofFedera1 Way finds such repealer be in the best interest of the City of Federal Way; NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FEDERAL WAY HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Sp.dion 1 The small works roster for the City of Federal Way is created and will be administered in accordance with RCW 39.04.155 as it now exists, and hereafter amended.
